Today, OnePlus unveiled the 10T, its newest smartphone, at its first live event in more than two years. The OnePlus 10T is a hybrid of an upgraded and downgraded flagship from OnePlus that is somewhat less expensive. It’s a bit of an intriguing tactic from OnePlus in this case. You lose out on features like the Alert Slider and the Hasselblad camera while obtaining somewhat better specs. OnePlus announced everything today, though, so here it is.

THOSE CAMERARIES WITHOUT HASSELBLAD The OnePlus 10T has three cameras, which is a slight departure from the OnePlus 10 Pro from earlier this year. Furthermore, there is no Hasselblad branding present. In essence, Hasselblad will only be available on the OnePlus 10 Pro, which is one of the differences between it and the 10T. Given that the 10T is marketed as a smartphone with a stronger focus on performance.

The Sony IMX 766 sensor, which has a 50-megapixel resolution and an aperture of f/1.8, is found in the primary camera. An 8-megapixel sensor with an f/2.2 aperture makes up the ultra-wide. Then, in place of a telephoto lens, we have a 2-megapixel macro sensor here. Even though it crops in on the 50-megapixel primary sensor in this case, the OnePlus 10T can still perform a 2x zoom.

Advertisement AMAZINGLY QUICK CHARGING Over the years, OnePlus has developed a reputation for providing us with exceptionally quick charging for our devices. And the OnePlus 10T this year doesn’t change that. The 125W SUPERVOOC Endurance Edition charging is being introduced. Due to the outlets that exist in the US, it is 125W here while it is 150W in other nations.

According to OnePlus, the quicker 220V outlets common in India and Europe are required for the 150W SUPERVOOC charging rates. In the US, 110V or 120V is the norm. However, there is good news: every OnePlus 10T comes with a 160W SUPERVOOC charger. So you can obtain the quicker 150W speeds if you travel abroad to Europe or India with your US charger.

So why does OnePlus ship 160W chargers when they only have a 150W maximum? For the charger to maintain that 125W or 150W charging, however, a greater voltage is required (depending on your region). Therefore, OnePlus went all out and gave each 10T customer a 160W charger.

It essentially upgrades the OnePlus 10T with a plethora of AI functions. There won’t be many new features, but you’ll still notice an improved experience.

The release of Oxygen OS 13 later this year will include those new features. Although OnePlus hasn’t really provided a debut date, we do know that the OnePlus 10 Pro will be the first to receive it. After that, older gadgets and the OnePlus 10T. That it will arrive on the OnePlus 10 Pro before the newest and greatest 10T is a little perplexing.

THE ONEPLUS 10T SPECS These are the OnePlus 10T’s specifications.
